ACTIVITIES
One of my largest accomplishments outside of my schoolwork and worklife has been my fitness. In the summer of 2006, I became a National Personal Training Institute certified personal trainer and nutritionist. I started my own personal training business, developed marketing materials for the business, and recruited clients. Today, I am no longer training but using the knowledge I gained to achieve my own fitness goals.

IMMEDIATE FAMILY
I grew up in a very entrepreneurial family.My father, Tom Sargent, is a developer who specializes in the rehabilitation of historic buildings. His latest project is Cavallo Point (see photo at right), which is a 142-room hotel built in a historic Army fort in Sausalito, CA. This project has inspired me to enter the hospitality industry after college. My mother, Barbara Sargent, is very involved in the community. My sister, Caitlin Sargent, is a senior geography major at Middlebury College in Vermont.
